V Narodnem domu je potekala podelitev priznanj za pokal Cockta v smučarskih skokih in nordijski kombinaciji za poletno sezono 2008, zbrane pa je nagovoril tudi vsem dobro znani športni direktor nordijskih disciplin in eden najuspešnejših nekdanjih slovenskih smučarskih skakalcev, dr. Franci Petek.
There was an awards granting for the Summer 2008 Cockta Cup in Ski jumping and Nordic combination today in Narodni dom and the audience was also addressed by the Sports Director of Nordic Disciplines and one of the most succesfull past Slovenian ski jumpers, dr. Franci Petek.

Logaški Ad Pirum - Zavod za intelektualne dejavnosti je v Centru vojnih veteranov Slovenije odprl kulturno-zgodovinsko razstavo z naslovom Utrdbe na Slovenskem - pregled utrdbenih sistemov Postojnsko-ljubljanskih vrat.
Odprtje razstave je pospremila predstavitev spremljajoče knjige Utrdbe na Slovenskem – vodnik po utrdbah v Sloveniji in bližnji okolici - druga dopolnjena izdaja - avtorja Aleksandra J. Potočnika (na fotografiji levo, z novo knjigo v rokah pa Anton Marn, direktor zavoda Ad Pirum).
Ad Pirum - - Institute for Intellectual Activities, based in Logatec, held an opening of cultural-historic exhibition titled 'Slovenian Fortifications - an overview of fortification systems of Postojna Gate and Ljubljana Gap' .
The opening was also accompanied by an introduction of a book titled 'A Guide to Fortifications in Slovenia and Surrounds - Second revised edition -' by Aleksander J. Potočnik (photographed left and right holding the new book is Anton Marn, the Ad Pirum Institute Director).

Na cesti Logatec-Rovte se je pozno popoldan prevrnil kamion; voznik ima par bušk, kamion mal zvitega pleha, sicer pa nič dramatičnega.
